Zac joined Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee from Non-League side Southport after a successful trial with the club midway through the 2009-10 campaign, initially signing an 18-month contract with the club, which was extended by a further season.
Consistant displays for the Reserves saw Zac awarded with squad number 37 in January 2011. He ended the season on loan at League Two Morecambe.
A member of the first team squad that played in the Barclays Asia Trophy in Hong Kong in July 2011.
