Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of midfielder Darren Pratley on a four-year on July 1, 2011.
The 26-year-old previously made 199 appearances during a five-year stint with Swansea City, scoring 31 goals. His last outing for the Swans was in the npower Championship play-off final win over Reading at Wembley Stadium that secured the Welsh club's promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
Prior to his spell in South Wales, London-born Pratley progressed through the youth setup at Fulham training in the same team as current Wanderers duo Sean Davis and Zat Knight, before enjoying regular first team football out on loan with Brentford.
The central midfielder also knows Sam Ricketts from his stint with Swansea, where he also wore the captain's armband.
Pratley made his Bolton Wanderers debut on the club's pre-season tour to America, starting in central midfield against FC Tampa Bay. He scored his first goal just days later in the 3-1 victory over Orlando City.
Pratley's contract at Bolton Wanderers runs until the summer of 2015.
