David recently completed a decade of service with the Club, the past three years having been spent in the first-team physio room.

Prior to this, he spent seven and a half years as Head Academy Physiotherapist, contributing to a notable 60 per cent reduction in Academy injuries. He now works under Colin Lewin, contributing to the treatment and rehabilitation of first-team injuries and also covering reserve team matches.

Prior to joining the Gunners in 2001, David spent three years with Charlton Athletic FC. He was a highly promising young footballer, representing England Under-18s and signing a professional deal with Sunderland before a fractured thigh bone curtailed his playing career.

He trained as a chartered physiotherapist at Manchester Royal Infirmary of Physiotherapy, and conducted clinical work at Manchester United FC.
