Having been on the Rovers books since the age of 13, 'Junior' spent two seasons on loan in Germany, firstly at SC Paderborn and then at Hamburg-based club St. Pauli.
After a successful work permit appeal in the summer of 2009, the Canadian born forward was finally able to call himself a fully-fledged Blackburn Rovers footballer, making his debut on the opening day of the 2009-10 season.
He subsequently signed a new two-and-a-half year contact in February 2010, which sees him contracted to the Ewood Park club until the summer of 2012.
2011 has seen the young attacker in sensational form, scoring the winner as Rovers knocked out Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup, before scoring his first Premier League goal with a thunderbolt in the win over West Bromwich Albion a fortnight later which would go on to be named 'Goal of the Season'.
