Rovers added promising goalkeeper Mark Bunn to their ranks in the summer of 2008 from Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee.
After making his debut in goal for Rovers in their FA Cup victory over Blyth Spartans in 2009, Bunn would have to wait almost two years before making his Rovers Premier League debut, coming on as a half-time substitute in the 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion in December 2010. He would go on to make six appearances during the 2010-11 campaign.
Having also been with Leicester City and Sheffield United for spells on loan, February 2011 saw him sign an extention to his existing contract to keep him at the club until the summer of 2013.
