Zat Knight moved to the Reebok in July 2009, on the same day Wanderers also swooped for Sam Ricketts.

Standing at six foot six inches tall, Knight has a decade worth of Barclays Premier League experience, having gained promotion from Division One with Fulham in 2001.

The former England U21 international made a total of 181 appearances for the Cottagers, before moving to Aston Villa in August 2007, where he marked his debut with a headed goal against Chelsea.

The defender has also received full international recognition with England, earning caps against USA and Colombia in 2005.

During his two years with Bolton, Knight has been one of the first names on the Bolton Wanderers team sheet.

He has scored two goals to date for the Whites; the winner in the 1-0 home win over Wolves in February 2010 and the opener in 2-2 draw with Manchester United at the Reebok in September of last year.

Knight was an ever present in the Bolton side under Owen Coyle's management up until February of 2011 when he was left sidelined for seven weeks after sustaining a knee injury in the 2-0 home victory over Everton.
